Summary of position:
Direct, supervise and coordinate activities of 8-12 maintenance workers engaged in servicing and repair of various facility and transportation equipment.
Primary responsibilities include:
Oversee mechanical integrity and process reliability of facility equipment.
Coordinate contractor and vendor activities for maintenance items outside the scope of the maintenance crew.
Maintain proper equipment and repair documentation through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Participate in a leadership role with the GAC Hazardous Materials Response team.
Maintain and document Management of Change and Mechanical Integrity programs under Process Safety Management (OSHA) and Risk Management Plan (EPA).
Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of the high-pressure steam plant.
Possess or be willing to obtain a Fourth Class Stationary Steam Engineer license from the State of Maine.
